Mark Snoxell established Exposure Downunder three years ago to spearhead the sales activity of World Journeys into the Australia marketplace. Subsequently, it has evolved to allow for more diversity of representation
In July 2016, Mark proactively branded Exposure Downunder and in addition set up the business to be able to operate in NZ, with view to “go to market” with an intentional small portfolio of “hand-picked” clients in 2017.
From an early age, Mark pursued his passion for travel and has been fortunate to have held many exciting roles across the globe including:
being a tour guide in Europe
retail travel in the UK
British Airways, based in London
Specialist group travel New Zealand
Corporate Sales Executive in the Middle East
Public Relations & Marketing in Kuala Lumpur & Singapore
While visiting Sydney, Australia, Mark was enticed into the corporate world where he ended up spending eighteen years excelling in the aggressive sales environments of Human Resources, Recruitment & People Management Software and clients included Qantas, Virgin Australia & Airservices Australia.
During this time Mark embraced the technical side of sales and became a certified sales trainer of several globally recognised sales methodologies.
Despite enjoying a successful career “suited up”, Mark had a yearning to return to travel and make his work a lifestyle, incorporating more sensory interests such as art, music, food & exploration.
With his analytical & focused approach and desire for measurable & high-quality outcomes, Mark has already demonstrated an ability to get results in today’s travel & tourism.
Innately, Mark strives for continuous improvement. As such, is aware of the need to understand new technologies and the impact on us all; ensuring we embrace these while helping people to truly experience the real world.
