More & more Kiwis enjoying Halong Bay cruises
Famous Halong Bay luxury cruise line report that literally hundreds more New Zealanders enjoyed experiencing the remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Site with them last year, compared to 2015.
Bhaya is a leading cruise operator, comprising of three brands: Bhaya Classic, The Au Co and Legend Halong. They have diversified products ranging from traditional wooden junk, private charter cruise to luxury cruise ship specialising in three day two night voyages.
While it takes four hours from Hanoi to Halong Bay, most Kiwi passengers are choosing a one night cruise.
NZ Bhaya Cruises representative, Mark Snoxell, says “We recommend clients to stay more than one night in the area to truly soak it all in, enjoy an excursion to Cat Ba island and see the real life of Vietnamese people, also feel the Vietnamese culture in onboard activities, such as a cooking class”
“Already this year our business from New Zealand is already up 29% on last year”, states Snoxell, “with these guests giving incredibly positive feedback, they just wish they stayed a bit longer!”
From this feedback, Bhaya Cruises are currently holding a promotion to encourage travellers from New Zealand to indulge a bit longer by offering special rates and benefits to those who plan to spend more than one night in the beautiful Halong Bay onboard either Bhaya Classic or The Au Co.
